Bo

My name is Bo, I came to the US 5 years ago. Before I came here, I was a university student, and my major is Chinese. The reason I studied Chinese is because of my family wanted me to, in order to do a family business in the future, but I know that I didn’t like Chinese, I like art and design. I like to draw since I was young and I wanted to be a graphic designer, so I decided to come to the US  to find myself in an art career and prove to my family that art is valuable. I studied graphic design for 2 years, and work as a graphic designer now. My family is happy that I achieved something I  really want to be. This is maybe the first step, but I will continue drawing and designing because it makes me happy and proud of myself. 

เราชื่อโบว์ มาอเมริกาเมื่อ 5 ปีที่แล้ว ก่อนหน้านี้ เราเรียนเอกภาษาจีน เพราะเป็นสาขาที่เกี่ยวข้องกับงานที่บ้าน แต่จริงๆแล้วเราไม่ได้ชอบเรียนภาษาจีนเลย เราชอบการออกแบบและวาดภาพมากกว่า เพราะตั้งแต่เราจำ ความได้ เราก็ชอบขีดๆเขียนๆ อะไรต่อมิอะไร เป็นประจำอยู่แล้ว เราตั้งใจมาอเมริกา เพราะอยากจะพิสูจน์ให้ ทางบ้านเห็นว่า งานศิลปะ เป็นอะไรที่หาเลี้ยงชีพได้ ตอนนี้ เราเรียนออกแบบดีไซน์ ได้ 2 ปีแล้ว พร้อมกับ ทำงานด้านนี้ไปด้วย ถึงแม้จะเป็นเพียงก้าวแรก แต่อย่างน้อยมันก็ทำให้ ทางบ้านเราเชื่อมั่นในตัวเรามากขึ้น ในงานสายอาชีพนี้ ทำให้เรามีความสุขและรู้สึกภูมิใจในตัวเอง
