Nira

My name is Nirattisai, you can call me “Nira” for short. I was born in Bangkok, Thailand, and I am an illustrator. I started drawing when I first watched the Sailormoon (Japanese anime) show on television and fell in love with art ever since. I graduated from the Silpakorn University, Thailand where I studied visual communication art. I started working as a freelance illustrator for clients in Thailand since I graduated such as: Nanmee books publisher and DON’T magazine. In early 2016,  I moved to Los Angeles to study English and want to explore the world. I finished my Master Degree in illustration department at Academy of art university, San Francisco with the loan money. Now I work as a freelance illustrator base in Los Angeles. 

ชื่อ นิรัติศัยค่ะ เพื่อนที่อเมริกาเรียก “Nira” จบการศึกษาจากคณะมัณฑนศิลป์ สาขานิเทศศิลป์ จากมหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร ทำงานเป็นฟรีแลนซ์รับวาดภาพประกอบตั้งแต่เรียนจนจบ เริ่มต้นการมาอเมริกา เพราะอยากเรียนรู้โลกกว้างและอยากฝึกการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษ บวกกับตั้งใจจะมาเรียนต่อในระดับปริญญาโท แต่ความฝันก็ต้องสลาย พอรู้ว่าค่าเรียนระดับปริญญาโทแพงมากๆ ระดับที่คนทั่วไปก็เรียนไม่ได้ แต่ก็ยังโชคดีที่ทางรัฐบาลให้ student loan เลยได้เรียนต่อในระดับปริญญาโทที่ Academy of art สาขาภาพประกอบ หลังจากเรียนจบ ก็ได้เรียนรู้วิทยาการต่างๆมากมาย และเข้าใจในการพัฒนาฝีมือให้ดียิ่งขึ้น ตอนนี้ยังคงทำงานเป็นฟรีแลนซ์รับวาดภาพประกอบอยู่เช่นเดิมค่ะ
